Neither BookHaven the application nor this official legal portal sets, uses, reads, or transmits HTTP cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking beacons.
2. Zero Web Beacons, Pixels or Fingerprinting
BookHaven contains zero third-party advertising SDKs, Google Analytics beacons, Meta tracking pixels, or browser canvas fingerprinting scripts.
3. European Union ePrivacy Compliance (Cookie Banners)
Under the European Union ePrivacy Directive and GDPR guidelines, websites and applications that store non-essential cookies must obtain prior explicit consent through cookie consent banners. Because BookHaven does not use any cookies, no intrusive consent banner is necessary or displayed.
4. On-Device Local Storage Only
Any settings you adjust (e.g. Sepia reading theme, 18pt font size, active reading goal) are stored strictly within the local device memory and sandboxed SQLite database. These operational values are never transmitted over the internet.
